President Aquino appealed to all countries to unite in the fight against climate change.
This is the theme of the President’s speech to the leaders of 41 nations including Mauritius, South Africa, Mexico, Norway and Switzerland that attended the United Nation Climate Summit in New York City.
He also asked the international community to stop the debate regarding greenhouse gas emissions and instead start helping each other solve the problem.
The UN Climate Change Summit was called by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, aiming to foster global agreement among world leaders to lessen greenhouse gas emission.
