House of Representatives majority leader Neptali Gonzalez warned the Senate that President Benigno “Noynoy” S. Aquino III may also veto the proposed Salary Standardization Law or SSL-4 since President Aquino vetoed the proposed SSS pension hike due to fear of said agency being bankrupt in the future.
The fourth version of the bureaucracy-wide salary adjustment was forwarded by the House of Representatives to the Senate before the month-long holiday break.
