(Eagle News) — President Bongbong Marcos has arrived in Belgium for the Commemorative Summit between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the European Union.
According to Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge Cheloy Garafil, the President and his Philippine delegation arrived at the Brussels International Airport at 9:55 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, or at 2:55 a.m, Brussels time.
Before he left on Sunday, Dec. 11, the President said he would push for “Philippine priorities”, especially on post-pandemic economic recovery, trade, maritime cooperation, and climate action.
The President is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with leaders from Estonia, Spain, Germany, among others.
He is also expected to meet the Filipino community.
