(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed another former military man in government.
Retired Army chief Lt. Gen. Glorioso Miranda has been appointed to the board of directors of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
The President signed Miranda’s appointment paper on January 9 but this was released to the media only on Friday.
Miranda replaces Serafin Salvador.
He will assume his post until June 30, 2018.
Miranda served as military chief from December 2016 until his retirement in October 2017.
