(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte kept a very good net satisfaction rating in the first quarter of this year, the Social Weather Stations said.
The results of the SWS survey that was conducted from March 25-28 showed that Duterte had obtained a +63 rating, the same net satisfaction rating he received in December last year.
For the survey, face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults (18 years old and above) were made nationwide—300 each in Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Sampling error margins are pegged at ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% each for Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao.
Duterte obtained the highest net satisfaction rating in Mindanao (+87), followed by the National Capital Region (+64), Visayas (+62) and Balance Luzon (+51).
His net rating was the same among urban and rural classes (+63).
The President received the highest net satisfaction rating from members of Class D (+64), followed by those from Class E (+60) and then from Classes A, B and C (+56).
His net satisfaction rating was highest among 25- to 34-year-olds (+71), and among college graduates (+76).
In a statement, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said that while surveys were “not (the President’s) priority,” the results “inspire the chief executive and the national leadership to continue its top agenda of ridding Philippine society of drugs, criminality and corruption, or building a trustworthy government; (pushing for) prosperity for all; and (for) peace within our borders.”
