(Eagle News) — Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque Jr., said that President Rodrigo Duterte will fire another undersecretary this week.
The announcement was made during a press briefing in Malacañang on Tuesday, April 17.
Roque also said that the undersecretary who will be fired is part of President Rodrigo Duterte’s promise to remove corrupt officials.
“Mayroon talagang [undersecretary] na scheduled para sibakin,” Roque said.
This came after President Rodrigo Duterte in a speech during the mass oath-taking of new appointees in Malacañang, said that he has fired another set of high officials.
Roque however, did not reveal the identity of the undersecretary who will be axed.
