QUEZON City, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte will have a busy schedule in September as he sets out to build stronger relations with the other members of the Association of South East Asian Nations. He will visit Brunei to meet with King Bolkiah as well as the Filipino expatriate community in the country. Then he will go to Laos for the 2016 ASEAN Summit. He will also visit Jakarta, Indonesia. According to Presidential Communications Operations Secretary Martin Andanar, ASEAN leaders are interested in meeting President Duterte, which he described as the most talked about leader in the ASEAN.
