(Eagle News) — The scheduled aerial inspection of flooded areas in Metro Manila and Rizal on Monday, Aug. 13, has been canceled anew.
The Palace made the announcement minutes after announcing the scheduled inspection to reporters in a Palace briefing.
Special Assistant to the President Bong Go had said the aerial inspection was supposed to take place on Sunday, but this was canceled due to bad weather.
This time, though, the Palace did not give any reason for the cancellation.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Monday said, however, that a low pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon, allowing for rains to persist in parts of the country.
