(Eagle News) — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., is set to visit quake-hit Abra on Thursday, July 28.
According to the Office of the Press Secretary, Marcos left for the province past 8 in the morning.
The OPS said the President will inspect the damage in the area.
He will also be given a briefing on ongoing rescue and relief operations.
The 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Tayum left at least four people dead and several injured.
The earthquake was felt as far as Metro Manila.
On Thursday, a 5.0-magnitude earthquake again struck the area.
PHIVOLCS said this was an aftershock of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake.
