(Eagle News) — Starting Monday, December 12, private vehicle owners who applied for car passes would be permitted to pass through Camp Aguinaldo. This was confirmed by Brig. General Allan Martin of the Headquarters Support Command of the Camp Aguinaldo.
Martin said that on Thursday and Friday, the AFP will start to distribute the car passes.
Once they claim their tickets, Martin said that motorists with completed requirements by Thursday or Friday may also start passing through Camp Aguinaldo to avoid the traffic.
Martin explained that car passes are only permitted to enter during weekdays. He then clarified that motorists would only be allowed to pass through Camp Aguinaldo during rush hour (or between 5 AM to 9 AM, and 4PM to 7PM) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
“Okay na yung weekdays kasi unang-una hindi naman ni-request ng MMDA yung weekends,” Martin said.
The permits of motorists will be valid until Dec. 31.
