(Eagle News) — John Paul Solano can still apply for admission to the Department of Justice’s Witness Protection Program.
This was according to Prosecutor General Jorge Catalan, who was asked by Senator Panfilo Lacson if they were already shutting the doors at Solano, who verbally provided details of what happened to Horacio Castillo III after his hazing rites on Sept 17.
Solano later however earned the ire of senators after he failed to submit his affidavit to the DOJ as he earlier promised, and then submitted a counteraffidavit saying Castillo did not die due to hazing but due to a pre-existing heart condition.
“We can evaluate and study if anyone would like to apply to the (WPP),” Catalan said.
