Russian Leader Vladimir Putin arrived in Vietnam for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit on Friday (November 10).

Prospects for a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. counterpart Donald Trump at the summit were unclear after the Kremlin said a meeting was definite before saying it was just a possibility.

Putin and Trump had their first face-to-face meeting in July to discuss allegations of Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.

Trump is due to arrive in Danang later in the day.  (Reuters)
