(Eagle News)–The P60 million issued as payment for the airing of Department of Tourism advertisements in the PTV program produced by resigned-Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo’s brother Ben has not been returned.
This is according to Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, who replaced Teo following her resignation over the ad placement mess.
Puyat’s appointment was confirmed by the Commission on Appointments on Tuesday, May 29.
Earlier,Teo’s lawyer, Ferdinand Topacio, said the money would be given back on May 7.
“(But) it has not been returned,” Teo said.
