Rainfall advisory raised over parts of Mindanao

(Eagle News) — A rainfall advisory has been raised over parts of Mindanao due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, moderate to occasionally heavy rains are affecting Dinagat Islands and Surigao del Norte (Siargao).

PAGASA said these may affect nearby areas.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rains are affecting portions of Bukidnon (Impasug-ong, Malaybalay, Cabanglasan), Camiguin (Guinsiliban), Surigao del Sur (Carrascal, Cantilan, Lanuza), Agusan del Sur (Sibagat, Esperanza, San Luis, La Paz, Loreto),  and Agusan del Norte (Jabonga, Santiago, Las Nieves).

“The public and the disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued..,” PAGASA said.
