(Eagle News)–Expect rains to persist as the southwest monsoon continues to be enhanced by three weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
A low pressure area, PAGASA said, was spotted inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, 760 kilometers east northeast of Basco, Batanes.
Outside PAR, PAGASA said Severe Tropical Storm Leepi was located 1775 kilometers east northeast of extreme northern Luzon, while Tropical Storm Bebinca was situated 897 kilometers west northwest of Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
Moderate to heavy rains are expected over Ilocos, Cordillera, Zambales, Bataan and Babuyan Group of Islands.
Light to moderate and occasional heavy rains are expected in Metro Manila, the rest of Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Occidental Mindoro.
Cagayan Valley, Bicol and Mimaropa will experience improving weather, PAGASA said.
