(Eagle News)—Two weather systems will continue to enhance the southwest monsoon, bringing rains to parts of the country on Saturday, Aug. 25.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said rains are expected in the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Bataan, Zambales and the Babuyan Group of Islands as “Luis” and a low pressure area off Batanes enhance the Habagat.
The rest of northern and central Luzon, Metro Manila, Calabarzon and Mindoro will experience cloudy skies and scattered rains, while the rest of Luzon will experiences slightly cloudy to cloudy skies except for isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience generally hot weather except for a few isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
A gale warning has been hoisted over the seaboards of northern and Central Luzon.
