Rainshowers to prevail in parts of PHL as easterlies affect country

(Eagle News)—Rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today, April 7, as the easterlies affect the archipelago.

Mindanao and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Flash floods during severe thunderstorms are also possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA said in the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao, there will be  moderate to occasionally strong winds and moderate to occasionally rough waters.

Northern and Central Luzon, and the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters, PAGASA said.
