Reactions of “narco-cops” who surrendered varied, according to PNP’s Dela Rosa

QUEZON CIty, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Philippine National Police reported that the various “narco-cops” who surrendered to PNP Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa had various responses when they went to Camp Crame.

According to Dela Rosa, some admitted their involvement in the illegal drug operations, while others explained that they were connected to the illegal drug trade in the past and that they had already reformed.

There were also those who apologized for their involvement, and explained that they were only forced by circumstances.  Still, others total denied being part of any illegal drug operations.

Dela Rosa added that the alleged “narco-cops” are still undergoing investigation as part of due process before the appropriate recommendation will be issued by the Internal Affairs Service of the PNP.
