MAY 25 (Reuters) — Surrounded by hundreds of supporters, Sean O’Brien, who gained worldwide fame as “Dancing Man,” busted a move at a party honoring him Saturday (May 23) night in Los Angeles, California.
O’Brian, from Liverpool, England, became an overnight sensation after a video of people mocking him while he was dancing went viral.
About 1300 well-wishers showed up to honor O’Brien at a party hosted by “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” star Tatyana Ali, at the Avalon Nightclub in Hollywood. Superstar musician Moby acted as DJ.
O’Brien said he was humbled by the support.
“I’m just just lucky and blessed to be here,” he said.
O’Brien’s party was arranged by Ali and Cassandra Fairbanks. Cassandra said she was outraged when she saw the video of O’Brien being made-fun of.
Also on hand to support O’Brien was former White House intern Monica Lewinsky, whose affair with Bill Clinton in the 1990s nearly brought down his presidency.
