Robredo lead over Marcos widens

(Eagle News) — The lead of Liberal Party vice-presidential candidate Leni Robredo widened on Tuesday morning, May 10, as votes counted for her totalled 13,286,907 compared to the previous frontrunner Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who has 13,144,856 votes.

As of the 9:20 a.m. latest partial and unofficial quick count of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) based on the election returns from the Commission on Elections, Robredo’s lead over Marcos is now 142,051 votes.

Presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte, meanwhile maintained his top spot at 15,194,576 votes compared to LP standard bearer Manuel “Mar” Roxas II who has 9,138,410 votes.  Duterte thus has more than 6 million votes compared to Roxas in the latest tally of votes.
