QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Vice-President Leni Robredo spoke out against the method employed by the Philippine National Police (PNP) against suspected drug personalities during the flag-raising ceremony in Camp Crame where she was the guest of honor.
While Robredo praised the PNP for their accomplishments, the Vice President added that the PNP should prioritize the keeping of the peace and the maintenance of moral courage.
Robredo also said that due to allegations that the PNP was behind some of the extra-judicial killings, there is now a chilling effect on the part of the public.
