(Eagle News)–A Parañaque policeman was relieved from his post after he was caught on video slapping a bus driver.

National Capital Region Police Office chief Guillermo Eleazar sacked P01 Edmar Costo after the video of him slapping a certain Joel Mametis in Baclaran went viral.

The two allegedly figured in a heated exchange after Costo supposedly  issued a traffic ticket to Mametis, who drives a Valisno bus.

Mametis allegedly bribed him instead, and  refused to hand over his driver’s license.

Costo is facing an administrative case for slight misconduct, but may also face a criminal case for slight physical injury, Eleazar said.
