So far included in the President’s foreign trips list are India, S. Korea, Australia and Israel, Roque says
(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte is slated to visit at least four other countries this year.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said these countries were India, South Korea, Israel and Australia.
“I think these are planned visits. So far it’s being discussed between the Department of Foreign Affairs and the countries that have invited the President,” Roque said.
According to Roque, there were “very specific goals” for the trips, which have no specific dates yet.
“…And part of a state visit or working visit is always to promote trade and investments as far as the Philippines is concerned,” he said.
