(Eagle News) — Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said on Thursday that he would reveal the name of the high-ranking official President Rodrigo Duterte is slated to sack, noting that another official would suffer the same fate.
In a radio interview, Roque said the identity of the first would be revealed at 1:30 p.m.
“Eh kasi meron na pong order na ituloy na. So, kaya po iyon, itutuloy na natin at ang press briefing po natin ngayon sa Davao,” he said.
He said that the date of the firing of the second has not been given to him yet.
As soon as the information is given to him, he said that he would make the announcement.
President Duterte has fired officials for a variety of reasons including corruption.
Among those the President has sacked were then-Interior Secretary Ismael Sueno, and Cabinet Undersecretary Maia Chiara Halmen Valdez, among others.
