Russia’s Medvedev says terrorism a global challenge

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday, November 18 that terrorism was a global challenge requiring a global response.

Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Prime Minister said that the terror attacks that Russia and France have just faced affected the whole world. The terrorism expansion is indeed a global challenge, a challenge to the entire civilized world. And it requires a united response – coordinated, fully concerted action.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Medvedev said the west’s boycott of Russia looked “weird” in light of last week’s militant attacks in Paris and the October 31 bombing of a Russian airliner over Egypt.

He said his country can beat terrorism on its own but the best option would be for Moscow and the west to put aside their differences and fight it together. (Eagle News Service)
