(Eagle News)—Davao Mayor Sara Duterte on Tuesday, April 23, condoled with the victims of the 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck Luzon the day before.
“We condole with the families of those who died in Pampanga during the earthquake yesterday,” she said.
The presidential daughter made the remark as she announced the cancelation of the Hugpong ng Pagbabago rally slated on April 26 in Limay, Bataan to allow that province and Pampanga to “focus on their post-incident activities.”
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said at least seven people were killed in the Luzon earthquake, and 81 others were injured.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the epicenter of the earthquake, which struck at 5:11 p.m., was Castillejos in Zambales.
