(Eagle News) — The Supreme Court on Monday, June 11, declared a half-day suspension of work in all courts in the National Capital Region for that day.
In an SC advisory, Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio said the half-day work declaration, or work only until 12 noon, was “due to the inclement weather arising from continuous monsoon rains.”
“For all other courts in other areas, (executive judges) are given discretion,” the advisory said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical and Services Administration said that Luzon would experience moderate to occasional heavy rains on Monday, June 11, due to the southwest monsoon.
