Associate Justices Antonio Carpio, Teresita de Castro and Arturo Brion issued a statement that they do not have plans to disinhibit themselves regarding the two disqualification cases against Senator Grace Poe, saying that it is different from the issue in the Senate Electoral Tribunal which is the disqualification of Poe as a senator while the present case will tackle the issue of the Senator’s disqualification in running for President.
