The Supreme Court 3rd Division issued the order rescinding said RTC’s Notice of Garnishment following the Supreme Court resolution ordering Napocor to pay former Napocor employees 60 billion pesos worth of damages.
The Supreme Court ordered the petitioner to submit within 45 days a list of Napocor employees detailing when they were hired, their position, their salary rate, as well as whether or not they received termination pay.
Regarding the Supreme Court resolution, various government officials, including Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima and Energy Secretary Jericho Petilla wrote the said court regarding the negative effects to the economy said court resolution would cause.
