(Eagle News)—The Supreme Court on Tuesday, April 2, ordered the Solicitor General to release copies of the police reports on the government’s drug war to groups that have asked the High Court to declare the drug campaign unconstitutional.
The SC ordered Solicitor General Jose Calida to give the copies to petitioners Center for International Law and the Free Legal Assistance Group.
Both groups had asked for copies of the police reports after filing their petitions against the drug campaign in 2017.
But Calida had said these reports were confidential.
