MANILA, Philippines, August 18 (Eagle News) — The Senate approved the proposed Php 2, 000 increase of the SSS monthly pension in a hearing conducted by the Senate Committee on Government Corporations and Private Enterprises despite the allegations of the SSS that their fund will run out by 2029.
Senator Cynthia Villar responded that the SSS should implement a more efficient collection system.
