(Eagle News) — The Senate on Wednesday approved on third and final reading the proposed P3.767-trillion national budget for 2018.
All 16 senators present voted for the budget bill months after the House of Representatives passed its own in September.
A bulk of the budget, once passed into law, is expected to go to the Duterte administration’s Build, Build, Build program.
Also expected to get a big share of the budget, if passed into law, is the field of education.
