QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News Service, August 30) – According to Senator Sonny Angara, chairman of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means, the Senate should still push through with its probe on the controversial measure adopted by the Bureau of Customs regarding the “balikbayan” boxes sent by overseas Filipino workers despite the fact that President Noynoy Aquino ordered a stop on the random inspection of said “balikbayan” boxes.
