QUEZON City, Philippines – Senator Tito Sotto proposed a bill requiring employers in the private sector to give 14th month pay to its employees. Sotto added the the ten-peso increase in the minimum wage of private sector employees is too small and an extra income should be given to help them cope up with educational and medical expenses.
