Senate to review PNP’s disciplinary measures

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Senate will review how the Philippine National Police (PNP) disciplines erring cops in light of the return of Police Supt. Marvin Marcos and his men in service and in higher positions than what they held before their suspension.

Senate Committee on Public Order Chairman Senator Panfilo Lacson said that they will summon PNP officials for this.

Marcos and his men are suspected of killing former Albuera, Leyte Mayor Ronald Espinosa, who was detained in a Leyte jail on drug charges in 2016.
