Senator Grace Poe’s DNA sample did not match the other DNA samples submitted. Said DNA matching was conducted in order to identify Senator Grace Poe’s real parents in order to prove that she’s a natural-born Filipino.
But the senator said that DNA matching is not only her basis of proving her citizenship but also the right of all children born in the Philippines to be recognized as a Filipino.
One of the issues being thrown against the senator is about her citizenship since she is a foundling.
