QUEZON City, Philippines – The Department of Foreign Affairs recorded zero votes on several diplomatic posts despite the fact that many overseas Filipinos registered as absentee voters. The DFA added that 66, 000 overseas absentee voters casted their votes while hundred thousands registered. In particular, the DFA noted the diplomatic posts in Mexico and Chile, with zero votes casted.
