According to Atty. Bong Suntay, president of Philippine National Taxi Operators Association, the complaints made by commuters regarding taxi drivers’ bad mood and even acts of harming their passengers were due to the severe traffic problem in Metro Manila. Said traffic problem means that taxi drivers suffer a loss of earnings.
