The reason is the severe traffic in North Luzon Expressway up to Meycauayan, Bulacan and lasted for seven hours.
The severe traffic was caused by the long line of container trucks along NLEX.
Also affected were Mindanao Avenue, Balintawak, C3 Road, A. Bonifacio and Blumentritt.
Even Roxas Blvd. and the surrounding roads of the port area was affected by the traffic, particularyly Anda Circle and Intramuros.
Motorists and commuters experienced mixed emotions of anger and irritation, especially those who were not able to go to their important appointments.
