MANILA, Philippines, July 3 (Eagle News) — The weather bureau in its 5:00 pm forecast update said that the center of Tropical Storm “Egay” was estimated based on all available data at 445 kilometer (km) East of Baler, Aurora (15.3N, 125.7E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometer per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 10 kph.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, the provinces of Palawan, Bicol Region, Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Meanwhile, Storm Signal No.1 was raised in the provinces of Babuyan Islands, Cagayan, Calayan, Isabela, Northern Luzon and Quirino.
PAGASA also said that cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Cagayan Valley, the rest of Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail throughout the archipelago with moderate to rough seas.
