QUEZON City, Philippines – Commissioner Rowena Guanzon passed a memorandum to the Commission on Elections en banc as well as to the proposed investigation committee to write SMARTMATIC and to not allow the personnel of the poll-technology provider to leave the country during the investigation. This is in response to the unauthorized revision of the script of the hash code of the transparency server done by SMARTMATIC which, in turn, raised questions regarding the integrity of the elections as well as the counting of the votes.
