Anyone can be a photographer. All that constrains us is our creativity and innovative vision. Of course, passion and love is also important. With such traits, your lack of skills at the beginning of your photographic journey will soon become a thing of the past.

Most people also found daunting the expensive equipment used by professional photographers. But with the recent developments in technology, anyone can just point their phone camera at their subject and create a good photo.

Those who take issue on using in-built camera phones need not fret. The would-be photographer is not bereft of choices. There are many second-hand SLR’s as well as camera accessories available at affordable prices.

More than the equipment, I think that it is imperative for photography wannabes to have the capacity to observe the world around them.

Also, it does not hurt for you to take a look at the work of others – not to copy and to imitate – but to learn and to develop your own style.

Then we take it to the next level. By conceiving brand new ideas and approach in photography, we develop our own distinct style and at the same time, give dramatic photographs that will earn the admiration of many.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves.

First, we must learn the basics. Like aperture, shutter speed, ISO. Don’t be intimidated by the terminology, photography is actually very simple.

Be ready to step out of your comfort zone. Be ready to go outside the box. Use your imagination. And take awesome photos.
