SOJ Aguirre mulls placing Dexter Carlos Sr. under WPP

(Eagle News)–Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II is considering placing the man whose entire family of five was killed in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, under the government’s Witness Protection Program (WPP).

Aguirre said if Dexter Carlos Sr. was qualified, they would fast-track his admission into the program to ensure his security.

He noted that the department would also do what it could to provide Carlos the assistance he needs.

Carlos is being assisted by the DOJ’s Public Attorneys Office.

On June 27, Carlos, a security guard, arrived home from his night duty only to find his entire household—his mother-in-law Auring Dizon, 58; his wife Estrella Dizon, 28; and their children Donnie, 11; Ella, 7 and Dexter Jr., 1; killed.

Construction worker Carmelino Ibañes, who confessed to the crime and tagged Rolando Pacinos alias Inggo and alias Tony as accomplices, has been arrested.
Pacinos, considered by the police as a “person of interest,” was found dead on Tuesday with five stab wounds and four of his fingers chopped off.
Another “person of interest,” Roosevelt Sorima alias Ponga, was shot inside his residence in Northridge Royale Subdivision in San Jose Del Monte.
His mother Rosario said she saw two masked men enter their house located near the Carlos’ subdivision, and shoot at her son.
He was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
