The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) worked on an economical source of Eco-friendly light as they marked Earth Day on Tuesday by singing a pact for the Light The City Project in which they will install 34 solar-powered street lights on footbridges in selected areas in Metro Manila.
The production cost and training for assembling the lights of this project will be funded by TESDA while the MMDA will supply the manpower.
