A French climber has scaled one of Dubai’s tallest skyscrapers, with just chalk and sticky tape on his fingertips to help him up.
52-year-old Alain Robert climbed the 1007-foot high Cayan Tower on Sunday (April 12), which also has a 90 degree twist
“Finally at the end of the day I knew that once I was going to start the ascent everything would be okay, I would be completely focused and I would be fighting like a tiger,” he told reporters.
Local media reported he did not use a safety harness and the climb was broadcast live on local television. (Reuters)
