QUEZON City, Philippines – Presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella said that President Rodrigo Duterte is open to criticisms regarding the policies of his administration, especially with regard to the independent foreign policy that he is promoting.
Abella said that Malacañang gives weight to remarks made by former President Fidel V. Ramos, which the Palace considers as an elder statesman. Furthermore, Abella added that the Philippines is a democratic country and everyone is free to air out their opinions.
