QUEZON City, Philippines – Just a few days after the launching of the 8888 government hotline, the Social Security System or SSS received the most number of complaints.
Most of the complaints against SSS include the delayed release of ID cards as well as the processing of pensions.
In second place is the Land Transportation Office regarding the delayed release of license plates. Civil Service Commission Chairman Alicia dela Rosa-Bala advised those using the 8888 hotline to complete the details of their complaints in order to facilitate the prompt response regarding their complaints.
