QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The pensioners of the Social Security System or SSS will receive the additional Php 1,000 pension benefit today, March 10, which will correspond to the deferential pension that they were supposed to be received last February 2017.
The pension increase for the first three months of this year will be received within this month.
The SSS released Php 2.07 billion for two million pensioners.
Meanwhile, the increase in the SSS contribution, particularly the 1.5% increase, could start in May 2017.
