Star Hotshots won game 1 of their best-of-seven semi-finals match against Ginebra, 78-74.
The Hotshots took home the first win of the series led by the “Angas Ng Tondo” Paul Lee, listing 18 points and five assists, while Mark Barroca scored 17 and Marc Pingris with 12 points and five assists.
The game was tight since the first quarter. But the Hotshots lived up to their name and emerged victorious.
An expected grueling game 2 will take place on Saturday, February 11, at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
