(Eagle News)– Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on Tuesday pointed the source of illegal drugs in the entire country is convicted drug lord Peter Co.
“Everything points toward Bilibid. Lahat ng tinatanong namin na drug suppliers, si Peter Co lagi ang sinasabing source nila,” Bato said during the Senate hearing on killings of drug suspects.
“Lahat ng regional level, iniimbestigahan namin. Si Peter Co ang lahat itinuturong source nila,” he added.
Dela Rosa spoke out his annoyance on how would he bring Co to further justice when he is already contained in NBP.
“Paano namin huhulihin ang drug lord na nakakulong na? Napakahirap…I am just expressing my frustration na bakit mga nakakulong na, sila pa nagkokontrol ng droga,’ he said.
On the other hand, dela Rosa guaranteed the senators that there were no transactions that were done recently, unlike in the past.
“As of now, yung transaction nila limited sa stocks na nadistribute na sa ibaba. Sa ngayon hindi na sila makapag communicate…hindi na sila makakapagtransaksyon dahil wala nang communication, wala nang cellphone na nakakapasok sa Bilibib,” he proudly told the senators.
